Sloane Square is located in a London area called Belgravia and is an easy reach from Knightsbridge and Chelsea. The area is names after the square you find straight after getting our of the tube station. You will find a fountain at the centre of the square as well as a few posh restaurants, fashion designers and a department stores (Peter Jones) on the its four sides. There are endless local and fashion stores nearby in Kings street.
Sloane Square is a very desirable area for tourist so you will find stylish hotels with topnoch facilities and expensive restaurants. The area also attracts some of the richest Londoners so rents are obviously high. You might find slightly less expensive area if you are ready to be a short walk south of the Square, however, rents will still be above average. Transportation is fairly good as many bus lines cross at Sloane Square and there are two different tubes lines (the circle and district liens are however known for there countless failures and delays). In brief, if you can afford it, Sloane square is definitely a great place to settle.
