Soho - photo #1

Soho is one the the trendiest area in London and you will find some of the best restaurants, bars and clubs. It can be defined as the area North of Leicester, south of Tottenham court road, east of Charing cross road and West of Oxford circus. Chinatown is also considered as part of Soho.

Soho is a very busy area and you will find people strolling down the street at any time of the day and night. As it is so Central, you have absolutely everything closeby (food and fashion stores, theatres, gyms, etc.) and will feel like living in the heart of the city. Many buildings have been converted into office space but you will still find a few interesting flats and houses, some of them surprisingly large for the location. It won't be a surprise that rents in Soho are very high.

Its busyness and high rents makes Soho more attractive and suited to professionals who needs to be leaving close to work or like to party. It is also a great location for foreigners looking for short term accommodation. If you cannot find a flat by yourself but are determined to live in Soho, you might want to look at flatsharing.
